A suspended ribbon and mirror create an unusual and unique screen. A thin line of projected visuals reaches across the room towards the ribbon, elongating the space and pushing media beyond the standard screen. Beyong aiming to create a new way to experience video, this work explores self-acceptance, as the musical, sculptural and visual gestures express the fragile yet powerful feelings of being truly seen. The visuals have been created with Touchdesigner, using audio reactive networks and detailed 3D materials.
